App: WiFi Quiet: Auto DND (dev.managedbyai.wifiquiet) · Developer: DoubleTap Game Studio (Cigar Butt Investments, Inc.) · Last updated: October 1, 2026
Short version: WiFi Quiet accesses your device's location, including in the background, for one purpose: to read the name of the Wi-Fi network your phone is connected to, so it can turn Do Not Disturb on and off on the networks you choose. Location data and Wi-Fi names are used only on your phone. They are never stored on a server, shared, sold, or sent anywhere. The app has no Internet permission and cannot transmit data.
WiFi Quiet requests Android's location permissions (precise location, approximate location, and background location, shown by Android as "Allow all the time").
Before Android asks you for location permission, the app shows its own notice explaining this, and requests the permission only if you tap Agree.
The app uses Do Not Disturb access to switch your phone's Do Not Disturb mode on and off on your chosen networks. It does not read the content of your notifications, calls, or messages.
WiFi Quiet collects no personal information: no name, email address, phone number, contacts, account, advertising ID, or usage analytics. It contains no ads and no third-party SDKs. Your settings (chosen networks, quiet level, days and hours) stay on your phone.
We do not share or sell any user data. No data leaves your device.
All data is held only on your phone. You can remove a saved network at any time in the app. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app deletes everything it has saved. You can withdraw location permission at any time in Android Settings; the app will then stop switching Do Not Disturb automatically.
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
If how the app handles data ever changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
